SQUEE! Collective |
Active between 2016 and 2019, the SQUEE! Collective consisted of three musicians: Rob Jones (saxophone, piano), James Alexandropoulos - McEwan (electric guitar), and Annick Odom (clarinet, double bass). A flexible, “ambient chamber glitch group”, SQUEE! is a collaboration between three composer/performers who met while studying at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. The ensemble strived to create a musical world that lies between the diverse backgrounds of all the players, in performing pieces that are composed collectively, which include notated, aleatoric and improvised elements.
Tulip Pickers String BandOriginally formed in Den Haag in The Netherlands, the Tulip Pickers String Band plays American traditional folk music from Appalachia for square dances. The Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival has had them play several years in a row. Annick still organizes dances in The Netherlands, Belgium, and France. Learn more about square dances she organizes here.

BobbiejakFrom 2014 to 2016, Annick was a core member of Bobbiejak, an imaginative Ann Arbor–based project led by composer and vocalist Tessa Patterson on electric organ.
